Hello Dreamwidth.

A Livejournal Veteran for ever how many years. I don't know. Too many. Though I'll say my activity fluctuated, especially as of recent. However, I'll be honest. I'm tired of silly online "diaries". I really have no use for them much any more. So here I am, on a new site, with a new blog, to do something new.

What This Blog is About:

This blog is essentially my notebook. It's my place to brainstorm my stories, develop my characters (both original and canon), post my stories and fanfiction, and otherwise ramble about my characters and their escapades, story wise, or roleplaying wise.

I may, at times, post my art to go with it, especially if it deals with Project Seraphim or Shimari Kidd (two of my projects) however this blog is mostly for the writing aspect.

So yeah. That's me, Dreamwidth. I look forward to this venture.

I don't write enough anymore. At least, I haven't been writing a lot of fandom stuff recently. I probably should do more of that. It's been mostly original WarCraft stuff that I've been hosting on another blog. But something else has come along and given me inspiration to write about.

First of a few Attack on Titan drabbles. Mostly LeviHan for now. Because it's my OTP. Maybe I'll branch into my Titanshifter OT3 one day.

There was a meme on Tumblr where someone would leave a prompt in your ask box, and you could write about it. It was a good excercise.I've been meaning to drabble more. And I guess it also helped people peek into my representation of the characters.

So far, I've done five.Three for Ezio, and two for Sibrand. They're originally posted on each respective RP blog, but I felt I should house themhere, too.

I have this fic that I've been working on for a while now.

It's a Hetalia fanfic revolving around the Ancients. And I love it. And I've not abandoned it. I finally trudged through the end of a build- up chapter that had been giving me writer's block problems, and posted it about a year ago.

Now that I'm finally on one of the chapters I've wanted to write, I have yet to actually... you know... write it.

I'm a terrible person.

Early Life:

Born to Laniir and Nisha Thornridge
raised mostly by her father in her very early years due to her mother's duties as a Sentinel always keeping her busy
Father re-called into the Dream one day, never heard from since.
Mother left her in the care of family friend, Kanta Wildsabre when she had to go off for Sentinel business, was not heard from for years afterward.
Kanta raised her from mid-childhood to adulthood, when she set off on her own. Maintained a very close relationship.
Onset of adolescence brought night terrors which triggered very violent reactions, considered to be the manifestation of a dormant split personality.
When said night terrors would occur was erratic. They would be as frequent as twice in a week, or as infrequent as once in a year. However, the triggered reaction was always the same. Hypolyta would become an uncontrollable whirlwind of violent rage, attacking anything and anyone in her path, even if their approach was calm and nonthreatening. She would have to be wrestled into submission, and sedated in order to be contained. Hypolyta would never have any recollection of these events.
The night terrors grew less frequent as she grew older, however the violent "blackouts" began to show when she felt threatened, endangered, or enraged. She became harder and harder to contain, and eventually killed two fellow Sentinel trainees during an episode. This led to her being detained for a year, considered a danger to herself and others.
Kanta negotiated her release after a year of no recurring episodes. It was then Hypolyta set off on her own.

RP Events/ In Game history:

She meets the rogue-turned-druid, Resheph Bladeleaf, and they travel together for a time, before eventually falling in love.
Reuniting with "big brother" Kanta, she helps him run The Aged Sabre
Has a violent encounter with a renegade "bounty hunter", and scorned lover from Resheph's past, resulting in the loss of sight in her left eye, also stirring that dormant, berserker personality for the first time in years. She kills the rogue.
She returned to the Sentinels, now aware that she could again have another episode at any time, and would require their assistance.
Lyta joins the Templars of the Rose, thanks to Kanta.
Lyta saves a dying Bloodelf by the name of Keigan Ciel'narri. The two become very close friends, and still communicate through letters.
With the Scourge and the Lich King's return, she was deployed as Sentienl aid for the Argent Dawn in the Plaguelands. She led a squad in the Battle of Light's Hope, sustained critical injuries, and was presumed dead.
"Corpse"napped by Adamis, used as a ploy in a brutal round of his Death Games. Her body is successfully retrieved by the Templars.
She awakes from her coma during her funeral, effectively scaring the bejeebus out of the few in attendance. The reunion that follows is joyfilled, and tearful.
Resheph is called into the Dream, and is not heard from again. This takes a great toll on Hypolyta emotionally, and mentally. But she takes on his last name in his memory.
Hypolyta makes the Peacebringer, the Templar's ship her new home, taking up residence with Kanta.
She then spends the past few years in Outland and Northrend, respectively, trying to lose herself in duty to try and find herself, and cope with the loss of her lover. She has become even more reliant on Kanta, the only stable part of her life.
Hypolyta has recently returned to Azeroth, and has been devastated by the recent destruction to her homeland. She seeks to help rebuild it.

The Maker is the creator of everything we know: the stars, the planets, the light, the dark, life, and every atom and molecule that makes up matter. The Maker crafted it.

What the Maker is, exactly, no one knows. Not even it's creations. It remains rather enigmatic. The Maker has no gender, and would prefer to not be labelled as one. However, it can not escape the gender that has been placed on it in certain religious texts, nor escape the fact that it has often been broken into several deities in others.

The Maker is "all knowing". It doesn't know everything, how ever it knows more, and sees more than anything its creations will know.

The Maker is not perfect. It is still learning, itself, like a mother with a child.

The Maker tries not to meddle too much in the affairs of Its creations, be it in their lives, or in the environments. It is content to let things play out how they might. However, there are times where It will take action. It is very rarely that the action is direct, and is more so carried out by the angels, who are privy to It's command.

The Maker cares for all of Its creations equally.

The Maker is "God".
